Another case of dumbing down, this time by the viewers. What would happen if JS won? It would turn the show into a farce and would probably kill off the series; I wouldn't like to see that. I can't imagine the judges coming back. The real entertainment in the show is the competition. The voting viewers are voting on personality, (Sergeant being an extremely likable character resembling a cuddly teddy bear), he can't go wrong with the dumb fools voting for him. They are not being impish they are being sentimental.
It serves the producers right - they picked him as Aunt Sally and it has backfired on them, they'll be more careful next time if there is a next time.
It is supposed to be a dance competition not a nicest person competition.
