Do other genres have a figure which is functionally similar to the cross body lead. This figure (manoeuvre? unsure of the terminology here) seems to be fundemental to the dance.




The CBL existed before mambo or salsa existed.

It is a figure in the American style Bronze syl. in Rumba, Cha Cha, F/trot, Waltz, WC Swing, and Bolero

it is not part of the Intern. style syl. in B/room or Latin
