What is/are the worst that can happen in Salsa dance being taught by unqualified, amateurish, inexperienced, ill-equipped instructors?

Well, for a start you can seriously injure your partner if you have been badly taught. I would have thought that was enough of a reason to have a qualified, experienced, professional teacher.
