CALMHEATHER SALSA~TICKETS FOR CHRISTMAS PARTY WITH PALENKE SELLING FAST~AND 9.45PM TIME FOR £6 ENTRANCE NOW ITS COLDER

HEY we acknowledge it is getting colder so for those coming just to dance we have dropped the cut off time from 10pm to 9.45pm as we know many of you travel........ from Devon..Southend..Ascot..Heathrow...some even came from Spain and Poland !!!...
HOWEVER..classes are not finishing earlier so we would ask folk to please respect that..WHY?
....because we are a serious dance class....Carl went to Laban and danced with Saddlers Wells and I am a fully qualified University graduate....BSc Hons, PGCE and have taught in some of the top schools in the country..North London Collegiate, Owens, Mill Hill, Queen Annes....so have a lot of experience in teaching.....
It is very distracting if folk walk through the middle of our lessons whilst we are teaching!!!
we provide the club experience as well...but it does not detract from the fact we are first and formost Salsa/Dance teachers...
also Tickets are flying out for the Christmas party...need to check how many we can have but dont want to crowd the place so much folk cant dance!!!..We are busy on a normal night but Palenke will add to the crowd....sold nearly 50% in 2 days

Tragic loss of a wonderful true friend, and inspirational dancer

Sad News
Dear all,
It is with very great sadness that we send this email to tell you that Lee Wright was killed in a car accident in Spain early today. He died instantly and didn't suffer.
Lee was a true ray of sunshine, and brought a smile to the face of everyone he met. He was warm. genuine, generous and happy, a true friend and a wonderful dancer. He is already sorely missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Shelley and Lee's family and many friends.

This Thursday, Joel and Ana 'Masacote', from Boston USA, will be in Birmingham to teach a 2 hour Styling and Partnerwork workshop. The next Salsa Central Party is this Saturday, 11th October, at The Portland Pavilion, Birmingham, B17 8LS. This months guests are Sagi (Promoter of the 1st Scottish Congress), and Dr Salsa. They join Mel C, DJ Sizzla, DJ Torqueo, and the team. Doors open at 7.30pm, with classes starting at 8pm. Then, the party continues to 2am. Entry is only £7. All levels are welcomed, and we have a great dancefloor and free on-site parking.

We will run 4 classes and dancing at the New Windsor Community Centre in Windsor starting on Wed 17/09. The Centre has a sprung wooden dance floor and offers very cheap drinks at its bar.
Also…we will be having a special Launch Party on Wed 24/09 with classes and dancing as normal…plus a show by Anwar Azari - winner of World Amateur Cuban Salsa Championships in 2007 in Miami and UK North-West and South-East Open Amateur Championships in 06/07.
