I know this conversation has been done to death but I just wanted toadd my two pennies worth.

When I first saw the advertising for this event I was very interested in going because I thought it was something different, the live music content seemed very attractive to me but after reading a lot of the comments below, I now feel put off, mainly because it seems to be following the format of all the other congresses, do we really need another?
if the organiser are not salsa teacher or promoters, what has taken them down this road? I am not a promoter and I could be wrong but I would have thought marketing a Latin Festival to the broader UK market than just the Salsa community would have made more financial sense.

I wish anyobody putting money into Salsa well and hope the event has some success but I really do not really think this will have the impact people expect as there are just too many weekenders on the market fighting for what I consider to be a relatively small dance community.
