Sure, suggestions such as this one have been discussed on this forum lots of times with good arguements as to why they wont work, I didnt want to start that all over again.
My aim isnt to find a clever solution to the bar take such as tokens etc but for promoters to be more upfront with their customers as to the consequences of ordering tap water.
Too many promoters start moaning at their customers AFTER they have been kicked out of a venue rather than firmly and politely explaining the consequences BEFORE it happens.
We hold nothing back in doing this. As a result the bars we use serve, on average, no more than 5 glasses of water in an evening attended by over 100 people and in 4 years we have never lost a venue due to The Water Issue.
It can be done.
Having said that I will probably get the dreaded phone call tomorrow now!
