Agree. this is a bit of a sweeping generalisation. Some *small time promoters* really want to do it just for the fun, and for some it is by being a *small time promoter* that they eventually become *bigger time promoter*. Hey, even Tesco AND Harrods started off as *corner shops*.
My comment was driven at the hostility to Maria Torres [she is successful in any event so must be thick skinned]. It could be Boris Johnson :p who was bringing her over. if someone is going to take a dig at an artist at least do you blooming roses research to make knowledeable digs!
[Oh and whilst digging check you dont destroy any archelogically important sites]
