it's not your place to tell someone else's students they are in the wrong level


I think it is - if you don't the students are under the impression that they can do your intermediate level class and it will reflect badly on you if they say you taught them.


Additionally teachers have a duty of care to their students. Even though you may think there is not much that can go wrong with intermediate level salsa a poorly trained student can hurt another and who crops it? The teacher. yes have heard all the arguments and sayings that salsa is unregulated, there is no risk in salsa etc . however if this was something that had a greater risk factor would you except the teacher to hold his hand up and say hey in my *professional* opinion you guys are not ready. I bet you would say yes!
