I'm no legal-expert but I think its at the discretion of the magistrate as to how much (if any) of the legal-costs he awards the winner of any case.

But this action would be covered by the small-claims court which would cut costs, but as a civil-action the teacher would have to go back to the court if the promoter didn't abide by the ruling.
So it could drag on and on...
