Hello Everyone

I would just like to say thank you all for your comments. Now a week on I have had time to reflect and have taken on board everyones comments and come to the conclusion that I assumed ability by my criteria and the promoter assumed ability by his criteria. Yes I have learned a valuable lesson. If I intend to continue working in the Club Salsa scene then I need to outline my intentions for the class with the promotor BEFORE I teach.

Whether I get paid will be another matter, I have written formally and await a response. But at this time it's just a case of putting it down to experience.

Also to clear up any concerns I did not announce to the class that they were rubbish or any other similar words, I was tactful in with my words. I do know egos are fragile, crickey mine was when I was starting out, so I believe I was not dismissive of the students eagerness to learn or their confidence.
