You really aught to try reading all the posts in a thread before you jump in with this nonsence ... It has been pointed out on more than one occassion that the promoter (provider of the content) and the venue owners (providers of the space in which you dance) are two seperate business entities i.e. the entry fee does not in anyway pay for the space in which you dance!

You will never in 99.9% of the Salsa Clubs you may attend pay one penny toward the venue and the space in which you dance with what you pay on the door...

Hopefully, you now understand the argument! It is simple...


Oh dear chap; I do understand the argument, I merely think it wrong-headed and inaccurate. When I the punter go and pay an entrance fee to dance, I then expect to be able to enter and dance. And if I choose to go to the bar and have a drink I expect to pay for my drink and then be able to drink it. And if I choose not to enter the salsa club I would hope I wouldnt be charged; similarly if I elect not to have a drink I don't wish to go to be bar to buy one.
