The cloak room is run by us and staffed by us and we had to present a good argument to be able to do that and reduce the price normally charged by the venue, which they have accepted as making good sense ... the take at our present venue is split 50/50 between ourselves and the venue. Our 50% I give anyway to the girl on the door on top of the wages I pay in order to cover the cost of her baby sitter ... She then gets to keep all of the money she has earned!
