You're the promoter, you stick your head up above the parapit, you state your position and you have to take the flack coming your way from it, not the other way around sunshine! I'm truely sorry that in a city the size of Bristol you can't make a decent living from salsa without feeling threatend by THE FEW people who only drink water... You've had the moral courage (all be it when shamed in to doing so) of saying who/where you are which at least does you credit. |  |
There was no shame in any of my actions with regard to the posts I’ve made on this subject my friend, and my repeated claim is not that I am damaged, but that Salsa is damaged by people who insist in ordering tap water the evidence for that claim is irrefutable! The only point that is truly irrelevant is who I am and where I run my business. What is at issue is a point of principal which is pertinent to the whole discussion! A point of principal that could be dealt with by your answering the five questions put to you.
The point of principal is that people who have the means to pay for goods and services, should pay for the goods and services that they request … Because if they choose not to it is ethically and morally wrong! If like you, they refuse to pay for those drinks, the venue owners are paying for them or fellow dancers through increased prices! People who won’t pay help to damage the prospect of Salsa being welcome in venues the length and breadth of the country that is a fact. And there is no economic model anywhere in the world where one person provides goods and services to another without reimbursement other than by charity or through begging … You claim to be a trainee economist and so please provide us with the evidence to the contrary if I’m wrong about that point of principal!
You on the other have completely and shamefully lost the argument by nature of the fact of your vitriol your aggression and the lack of courage and conviction to answer the five simple questions put to you and that’s where the dialogue with you ends!
