Unfortunately the pre event promotion was a bit late in coming for the Salsa crowd, but it was primarily a food and Band night put on by Slow Food for people who enjoy live music (though dancers were fairly catered for) this was very clear in the promotional material...
There were around 20% of ' Salseros ' at the event and the space made available for dancing would have increased to accomodate any increase in numbers should it have been necessary! Jesters is a large venue and so this wouldn't have been a problem! As it turned out it was a great night with around 200 people, great music and a great Live Music atmosphere...
This was the first night of its kind and although there were a few logistical problems created by its success improvements should naturally follow, as the venue owners are aware of what needs to be done!
