I am a reasonable dancer and I am very good at leading. How do I know? Because lady dancers including female teachers told me so.
I’m having a wee bit bother when I go and dance in clubs. I sometimes find some ladies, regardless their body weight, are unable to carry their own weight while dancing. I am surprised some of them have been dancing for years and unaware of the ‘body weight movement problem’.
To make matters worse, these ladies love dancing with me, and keep asking me to dance when I’m not dancing.
I don’t mind dancing with them once or twice in a night. However, I don’t enjoy dancing with them. It feels like dancing with elephant or hippopotamus. Sorry this is not derogatory but a fact. Any advice for these ladies?
Some have asked me about their dancing, and I have been tempted to tell them exactly what is wrong with their dance. However, being a coward, I keep my mouth shut firmly. Before you punch me and to put this question in perspective, I’m sure there are faults in leaders too.
