proves a vital point, a "salsa dancer" will never win those type of competition. In my view they are simply not fit enough, nor do they have the technique. Yanet's technique is superior to the average salsa dancer and she still got knocked out. A ballroom dancer might have a better chance, but still would not come in a high position. It was nice following and supporting Yanet and I hope she gets something out of this, but lets face the fact that she simply could not cut it. Her solo was not that impressive, her choice of music was bad, the fact that cuba is so rich with dance history and yet she did not even put enough of that on display to distinguish hershelf from the pack was a shame. Instead she tried to play them at their own game and came a cropper. a lesson has been learned here.
