Yanet is just as fit and just as flexible as the other dancers.

Yanet and Robbie are the only couple to have attempted the Lindy Hop so far in the series. It is a dance that people specialise in, like salsa and AT. When it has appeared on SCD, both professionals and celebs struggled.

To pitch a couple dancing the Lindy against others dancing much closer to their comfort zones is not entirely fair, but that's TV.

Yanet's last solo was not the best, but since she choreographed it herself, it is as much a sign of her skills as a choreographer as her dancing ability (the latter being what the show is supposedly about).

AFAIK, traditionally in Afro-Cuban dance, solo dances are the purvey of the male dancers, so she did not have much scope to draw on her dance heritage to stun the audience - though I would like to have seen her do a Cuban Rumba with a partner on prime-time TV - OfCom's phones would have been ringing off their hooks!
