Salsa Sabrosa moves to Bristol's biggest nightclub!

With packed classes, we've pretty much run out of room for everyone at The Funky Greek and they've just sold their nightclub anyway - so we're on the move to OCEANA!!!
OCEANA is a purpose-built nightclub with a state-of-the-art soundsystem and lighting effects. We're delighted that we're able to bring you a salsa night in one of Bristol's best known nightclubs. You probably know where it is already - on the Harbourside, just a few minute's walk from The Funky Greek.
We're kicking off on Monday 5 May with a launch party night with fresh fruit, hot moves, funky tunes from DJ Ian and even more space to dance!
Prices and classes remain the same. We're really excited about our new venue and can't wait to see you there!

Frank has made appearances on television and stage throughout the UK and Europe.

This is a Ten-weeks college course on Monday evenings from 7.00pm to 9.00pm, This course is officially administered and run by the KGV College, and requires prior enrolment at the college and you must enrol & start on the date specified by the college
What is on offer: This is a Fast-Track Absolute Beginners course, for those who have no spare time, such as arts students, dance teachers, holiday makers, or anyone who wants to learn these three wonderful and modern dances quickly in no time! A specially tailored couse has been design in co-oporation with Latin Studio and their Renowened and highly qualified North West dance instructor Zamir Tavakol at KGV college. Spring Break and a Weekend of Dancing and Walks is now booked for 18th to 19th April 08

We don't have to travel hundreds of miles to enjoy ourselves in fact I have found a beautiful place situated in the Derbyshire Peak District. The hotel has won awards for food and is in a beautiful setting. The itinerary for the weekend is suggested as follows:_
Arrive at the hotel Friday whatever time is convenient to yourselves, if we are smart we could do car share.
All meet for social pre dinner drinks in the bar, evening meal followed by dance lessons for beginners/improvers at 8pm then freestyle dancing till we drop.
Saturday meet after breakfast for an organized walk taken from the ordnance survey map of the best and beautiful areas of the Peaks, stopping off for lunch either pub lunch or packed lunch (optional), back to hotel for free time and pre dinner drinks/evening meal, (anyone fancy a game of Uno?) followed by 8pm lesson for both beginners/improvers freestyle dancing till finish, the management have agreed the licensed bar will stay open till the last man/women leaves, so bedtime is up to you.
Breakfast and optional short walk or free time then back home. From Moira Village Hall the traveling time is less than 1 hour!

Salsa at Que Pasa Bristol moves over the road

One of the largest salsa nights in the South West is moving to an even bigger venue on Monday (10th March). We'll have more space for classes over two floors of a stylish city-centre venue! There are also two bars, with one just for cocktails!
Classes, times and prices remain the same. 6 levels of class from 8pm to 10pm, with dancing afterwards until midnight.

New Venues Within West Midlands

Following recent expansion, B60 Salsa are now offering a variety of courses, classes, events, practice nights and monthly social evenings with guest teachers.

Commencing in March, new Saturday daytime Beginners courses will be at Elite Performing Arts Dance Studios in Aston Fields, Bromsgrove.
In April, Tuesdays see weekly salsa classes for beginners and improvers commencing at the Royal British Legion in Rubery. There will be an opporunity for freestyle dancing after classes finish until 11.00pm.
Wednesdays are B60 Salsa's regular club night at Stoke Prior Sports & Country Club. Beginners, Improvers and Intermdiate classes are followed by freestyle dancing until 11.00pm every week. Monthly Saturday night salsa parties also take place at this venue and have proved to be incredibly popular. Each month there is a different guest teacher featured.
Lindsey Beard, who runs B60 Salsa is planning lots of events for the Spring, the first of which involves taking students to the Regent Theatre in Stoke on Trent to see Havanna Rakatan, a dazzling dance spectacular direct from Cuba. She is also offering students the chance to partake in various salsa weekend events around the country.
Lindsey is also currently negotiating with venues in Lichfield and Droitwich.
